Senior Thought Leader Liaison, Multiple Myeloma - Northwest
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a field‑based Oncology Senior Thought Leader Liaison to support the Northwest (MN, SD, NE, KS, CO, WA, OR) territory. This role requires the candidate to be located in a major metropolitan market with easy access to a national airport and involves travel up to 65% for meetings, advisory boards, and congresses.
Our Oncology team focuses on the elimination of cancer through innovative research and development. The Senior Thought Leader Liaison will lead the KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement strategy across Multiple Myeloma brands, collaborating closely with sales leaders, medical teams, and external partners to elevate brand advocacy and support clinical impact.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute regional KOL engagement, marketing education, and faculty development strategies, including peer‑to‑peer marketing plans and healthcare compliance training.
Provide local market insights to shape strategies for DARZALEX, TECVAYLI, TALVEY, and CARVYKTI in collaboration with sales and medical teams.
Build trusting relationships with academic and community KOLs and internal partners to achieve brand priorities.
Maintain awareness of regional Multiple Myeloma trends and coordinate engagement plans with cross‑functional partners.
Analyze regional treatment patterns with the analytics team to inform peer‑to‑peer and insight placement.
Manage the regional marketing budget and provide feedback on business planning.
Develop innovative educational platforms for national and regional recommendations, including congress engagement.
Lead the overall Multiple Myeloma strategy, mapping, and innovative engagement planning across current and future launches.
Partner with Commercial Excellence to develop tools for insight generation placement.
Potentially manage other oncology TLLs to increase capabilities and impact key initiatives.
Requirements
BA/BS degree; MBA, MD, PharmD, PhD or related graduate degree preferred.
Minimum 6 years of experience in marketing, medical, key account management, or sales engaging with KOLs and professional healthcare organizations.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and ability to innovate and deliver results.
Deep understanding of industry trends and strategy development to stay ahead of competition.
Proven relationship‑building skills and customer‑centric focus.
Travel up to 65% required.
Valid U.S. driver’s license.
Preferred
Experience in pharma or biotech engaging with KOLs and healthcare associations.
Deep medical/scientific knowledge of the oncology marketplace.
Leadership, communication, and transformation experience.
Pay Range $137,000 - $235,750 per year.
