Support a K‑12 school community in Albany, OR as a dedicated School Psychologist committed to comprehensive student evaluations and collaborative service. This contract role for the current school year offers a dynamic work schedule focused on balancing evaluation duties with direct school‑based support.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary evaluation teams 23 days per week to conduct thorough assessments and deliver actionable recommendations. Provide on‑site support at one or two school buildings 23 days per week, assisting special education teams in student evaluation processes. Conduct detailed assessments emphasizing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) populations. Offer consultation and interpret assessment results to guide intervention strategies and support special education programming. Manage an evaluation caseload of approximately 6075 students annually, adjusting based on assignment. Participate actively in team meetings, Admissions, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) or Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and engage in ongoing professional development. Qualifications
Valid Oregon School Psychologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure. Proven experience conducting assessments focused on ASD and CLD student populations. Strong familiarity with special education laws, assessment tools, and intervention models. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
