ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client, a boutique CPA firm with a business management arm, is seeking a Full-charge Bookkeeper with the ability to work in their NYC office. Must have Quickbooks.

YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD INCLUDE, BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

Full client accounting services and general ledger maintenance.

Bank reconciliations.

Preparation of bank deposits.

Monitoring cash flow.

Accounts payable management including recording invoices and processing payment.

Assist with vendor issues and discrepancies.

Accounts receivable management including invoicing customers and following up on outstanding balances due.

Client correspondence and communication.

Reporting to managers and partners.

Entering or importing weekly payroll entries.

Preparation of quarterly payroll tax returns.

Prepare supporting reports for worker’s compensation audit or other insurance audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have similar bookkeeping experience in professional services environment.

Must have commanding knowledge of QUICKBOOKS.

Must be proficient in MS Excel.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication skills for interfacing with clients.

Ability to identify discrepancies and know how to correct them.
