is working with a company within the Transportation industry who is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The AR Specialist will be responsible for managing complex billing processes, reconciling customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections. This role requires advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of transportation billing structures, including fuel surcharges, accessorial fees, and multi-stop invoicing.

Responsibilities:

Generate and process high-volume, complex invoices in accordance with customer contracts. Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions. Reconcile discrepancies and resolve billing issues with internal teams and customers. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances. Prepare reports and analysis using advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros). Collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure billing accuracy. Support month-end close and audit processes. Qualifications:

3+ years of AR experience, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (testing may be required). Experience with ERP systems and transportation management software (TMS) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
