Non-Management POSITION SUMMARY As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring our guests enjoy a flawless experience by responding promptly to repair requests and proactively maintaining equipment and property. Your role includes: Attending to and resolving guest maintenance requests with minimal supervision. Conducting preventive maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating tools and equipment. Visually inspecting and troubleshooting tools, equipment, and machinery. Operating and maintaining an inventory of parts and supplies. Communicating effectively with team members across all shifts regarding daily activities and issues. Exhibiting expertise in reading blueprints and electrical schematics, especially in plumbing and HVAC systems. Demonstrating proficiency in key maintenance areas, including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Utilizing hand and power tools safely to perform complex repairs on various systems, ensuring compliance with company standards and local codes. Implementing Lockout/Tagout procedures during maintenance work. Advanced troubleshooting of hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Training and mentoring junior engineers as needed. Your responsibilities also include adhering to safety and security protocols, maintaining a professional appearance, and developing positive relationships with team members to achieve collaborative goals. You will be required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform various physical tasks safely. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with a vocational or technical background. Extensive experience in general maintenance and hotel engineering roles. Valid Driver's License and a Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must meet all applicable state and federal certification and licensing requirements.
