About the Role:
Blacklock Group is proud to be supporting an
elite boutique investment bank
in
New York City
as they continue to expand their
Generalist M&A team .
This is a unique opportunity to join a
top-performing group
that has advised on some of the most high-profile and complex transactions across a wide range of industries. The team is highly regarded for its deep transactional expertise, broad sector coverage, hands‑on deal exposure, and collaborative culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Execution of M&A transactions , including valuation, financial modeling, and due diligence across multiple sectors.
Preparation of marketing materials
such as pitch books, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
Active involvement in client meetings, strategic discussions, and deal negotiations , providing analytical and strategic support.
Mentorship and guidance of analysts
within the team, supporting technical and professional development.
Contribution to origination efforts
through market research, client relationship management, and identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements:
1–5 years of Investment Banking experience
(preferably in M&A or generalist coverage).
Strong
technical skills in financial modeling and valuation , with the ability to analyze diverse business models and industries.
Proven ability to
manage multiple projects simultaneously
and deliver under tight deadlines.
Excellent
communication, presentation, and client management skills .
Experience from an
elite boutique, bulge bracket, or top middle‑market firm
is preferred.
