Requirements
Master’s degree in English, Mathematics, or History or a master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in one of these disciplines.
Classroom teaching experience.
Preferred
PhD and prior University teaching experience.
Blackboard experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach online, synchronous courses at a variety of days and times.
Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.
Use a course syllabus for each course following established institutional guidelines.
Evaluate students to measure progress in achieving course objectives and inform students in a timely manner of their progress.
Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community. Position is security sensitive. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
