Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager – Southeast Region (US). 3M is seeking an experienced sales leader to manage a $100M+ territory, drive growth, and lead a team of sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed sales operating plans, accountable for sales pipeline and identified growth opportunities.
Direct a 3M sales team and manage business growth plans for all 3M portfolios sold into the territory to achieve sales goals.
Provide supervision of 3M employees including objective setting, performance management, motivation, and training and coaching.
Approve assigned programs and budgets and manage overall resources to meet business objectives.
Develop and enhance 3M’s relationships at all levels of key accounts and other assigned customers.
Provide regular updates on sales progress and market status to the EMD’s National Sales Manager.
Create solutions for difficult problems and sales opportunities requiring creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skills.
Share vision and demonstrate company values.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
Five years of experience in marketing, sales management, or field sales in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Strong analytical skill set.
Experience managing people.
Strong team building and cross‑functional skills.
Excellent leadership skill set, attention to detail, and overall business acumen.
Experience calling on key accounts.
Demonstrated effective negotiation skills and strategic planning.
Additional qualification: MBA (preferred).
Additional qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and/or Sales field (preferred).
Location & Travel Work location:
Remote – Southeast Region, USA.
Travel:
May include up to 50% domestic/international.
Relocation assistance:
May be authorized.

Compensation Expected compensation range: $188,251 – $230,084 (base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible). Additional benefits may include Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Life Insurance, Paid Absences, Retirement Benefits, etc.
