Job Summary As a Sales Business Manager for Scotchlite™ Reflective Materials, you will lead competitive conversions, launch new products, support qualifications, identify new business opportunities, negotiate new specifications, and develop key account penetration plans with a cross‑functional team. This role is based in the Eastern US and requires significant travel and driving.
Key Responsibilities
Lead competitive conversions and execute new product launches/intros
Support and lead qualifications and identify new business opportunities
Negotiate specifications and develop key account penetration plans
Manage distribution‑converter relationships
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive execution
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
High school/ GED plus ten (10) years of combined sales and/or business management experience, *or* a Bachelor’s degree and at least three (3) years of combined sales and/or business management experience.
Three (3) years of experience in distribution and channel management.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Preferred qualifications:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Experience in a regulated garment manufacturing market.
Success meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Knowledge of the industrial channel and end‑user specification process.
Ability to lead without direct authority and a customer‑first mindset.
Initiative, innovation, continuous learning and personal development.
Work Location & Travel
Remote sales role based in IN, IL, OH, KY, TN, FL, GA, AL, MO, MI, MN, NY, NE, NC, SC.
Sales territory: Central / Southeast US.
Over 60% domestic or international travel anticipated.
Additional Requirements Company Vehicle:
Requires driving a company vehicle; pre‑employment and ongoing motor‑vehicle‑history review will be conducted.
Relocation Assistance:
Not authorized.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑visa sponsorship.
Benefits & Compensation Competitive compensation range: $142,479 – $174,141 (base + variable incentive). Eligible for a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, disability, life insurance, paid absences, retirement, and other voluntary benefits.
