Supply Chain Projects Specialist
Supports the development, implementation, and optimization of supply chain processes and projects. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing process improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with established policies, and supporting the delivery of key supply chain projects. The Supply Chain Projects Specialist will work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement within the supply chain organization.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and support the execution of supply chain process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and timelines.
Assist in documenting and updating standard operating procedures, playbooks, and process maps for Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) and Requisition‑to‑Delivery (R2D) activities.
Work with functional leaders and key stakeholders to gather requirements, identify process gaps, and recommend solutions.
Track project progress and ensure adherence to supply chain policies, including strategic sourcing, purchasing approvals, and contract management.
Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives by collecting data, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying areas for enhancement.
Provide training and guidance to supply chain staff on new or updated processes and tools.
Prepare regular reports and presentations on project status, process improvements, and compliance metrics for management review.
Perform other job‑related tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, or process improvement roles.
Competencies and Skills
Strong understanding of Source‑to‑Pay (S2P) processes; experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and purchase order lifecycle.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to source, evaluate, and synthesize a broad range of information across multiple disciplines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Familiarity with project management tools and supply chain software is a plus.
Certifications
Project management (PMP, CAPM) or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) certification is a plus.
