Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to play a key role in our financial operations. This position is responsible for overseeing complex accounting tasks ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting strategic financial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close processes including preparation of financial statements.
Review and post journal entries accruals and account reconciliations.
Analyze financial data and trends to support business decisions.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or progress toward CPA preferred.
36 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g. NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
