THE JOB For the Analyst, Marketing Science position, we seek candidates with 1-2 years of experience in a quantitative, data‑driven field. The ideal candidate has a strong desire to learn and a passion for both digital marketing and analytics. You should be experienced in tracking, pulling, and analyzing data using various tools and resources. As an Analyst on OMG23’s Marketing Science team, you’ll transform vast data sets into compelling, actionable insights, measure campaign performance, and work closely with clients, vendors, media planners, and strategists.
Responsibilities Include
Generate and communicate clear, compelling, actionable insights
Gather data through various third‑party platforms and analytics tools
Ensure client‑facing and internal reporting is timely
Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes
Provide on‑job training to assistant analysts
Present reports and results to internal teams and stakeholders
Work closely with publishers to establish KPIs and develop benchmarks across campaigns
YOU
Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, information management, social sciences, or business/marketing related fields (Advanced degree (MBA/MS) preferred)
1-2 years of experience in a quantitative, data‑driven field (agency experience preferred)
Strong desire to learn and passion for digital marketing and analytics
Experience troubleshooting large data sets
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate clearly in internal and client‑facing meetings
Ability to be agile and adaptable within a quick‑turnaround business environment
Proactive approach to problem solving and critical thinking
Excellent ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to multiple audiences
Ability to work well with others and collaborate in cross‑functional teams
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks, while mentoring and managing assistant analysts
Desired Technical Skills
Experience in SAS, SPSS, R, or other advanced analytics software packages
Experience/familiarity in ad‑serving and web analytics tools (Google Campaign Manager, Innovid, Google AdWords, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Analytics, MOAT, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
Experience/familiarity with concepts of database design and SQL
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Access is a plus)
Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and Javascript
This is a hybrid role based in
Burbank, CA .
Compensation Range $60,000 — $69,000 USD
