Corporate Accounting Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and supporting documentation.
Perform monthly GL account reconciliations, schedules, and resolve discrepancies.
Document GL account balance fluctuation analysis; investigate differences.
Assist with subsidiary consolidation, intercompany balance variances, and monthly reporting packages.
Handle accounting for new fixed assets, debt, and lease transactions; review related guidance.
Maintain accuracy of fixed asset and lease subledgers.
Analyze and prepare balance sheet fluctuation analysis; discuss significant fluctuations with subsidiary teams.
Prepare cash flow statements and forecasts.
Prepare annual standalone and consolidating financial statements.
Assist with GL maintenance, including new accounts and entity requests.
Recommend improvements for close and consolidation processes.
Liaise with auditors for quarterly reviews, annual audits, SOX 404 testing, and related inquiries.
Assist with ad-hoc queries from internal customers.
Education, Experience, and Requirements
Accounting Degree and CPA License.
3+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Oracle, and Hyperion is a plus.
Competency in US GAAP accounting, especially fixed, lease, and debt transactions.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills.
