Responsibilities
Assist in leading teams on complex financial crimes advisory engagements, including AML, sanctions, and fraud‑related assessments, gap analyses, and remediation efforts.
Contribute impactfully to the execution of client solutions that address regulatory requirements and mitigate financial crime risks. Drive the development of high‑quality work products and foster trusting, collaborative relationships with client stakeholders.
Provide input into engagement decisions such as solution offerings, work plans, timelines, budgets, project management, and resource allocation.
Aid management in identifying business development opportunities, managing engagement risk, and escalating issues.
Maintain awareness of current industry issues, trends, and emerging regulatory requirements, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent experience in financial crimes compliance, AML, sanctions, fraud prevention, or related areas.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field. Advanced degree, CAMS, CFE, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; solid understanding of AML, sanctions, legal and regulatory environment, and emerging trends such as intelligent automation, cryptocurrencies, and digital banking.
Background performing internal audits or compliance testing reviews, and remediating deficiencies.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation, and writing skills.
Ability to travel as needed; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment‑based visa sponsorship.
