Material Handler - 2nd Shift at Eaton. ES AMER ESS division. Full-time role with a 40-hour work week and potential overtime. Shift is 1:45pm-10:15pm. Full benefits and 401(k) plan available. The hourly rate is 23.40 with a 1.00 per hour shift differential. Salary information is a general guideline and may vary based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications. What You’ll Do

Use forklift or power equipment to move and store materials, parts, and products. Transport items from incoming staging area or finished goods staging area to storage or shipping areas. Operate an overhead crane or hoist to assist in moving material when needed. Complete related documentation for shipping and receiving material and move/expedite material to the proper department. Assist in the maintenance of stock levels and coordinate movement of material as required. Unload trucks and verify material against packing lists; check freight bills as applicable. Perform duties of internal truck driver, making pick-ups and deliveries in a timely fashion; assist with delivery/receipt of product to outside vendors or contractors. Maintain 5S housekeeping in the work area and ensure areas are neat and orderly. Notify internal customers of receipts and materials requiring attention; maintain working relationships with internal customers. Receive P.O.s in the system; separate AML material from non-AML (Kanban); sort and disperse return material and maintain documentation. Assist with annual inventory and process internal Kanban cards; support Kanban system maintenance. Package finished product in preparation for shipping. Qualifications

Required (Basic):

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographic limitation. Preferred:

High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to obtain forklift certification and prior warehouse or manufacturing experience Ability to use computer systems for input and tracking of materials Skills

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods; repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting Analytical and problem-solving skills Effective oral and written communication, planning and organizational skills Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the work area Maintain health and safety equipment in good working order Know and follow established health and safety procedures We are committed to equal employment opportunities.
