Position Overview The Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist will focus on newborn care programs at Level I nurseries and maternity centers in Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky/Dayton. Responsibilities include newborn care at Level I nurseries, well‑newborn examinations and discharges, mentorship and teaching of medical students, residents, nursing, allied health professionals, and participation in newborn‑focused quality improvement and clinical projects. Work schedule includes day and night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications & Requirements

M.D./D.O. or equivalent

Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program

Newborn training/experience preferred

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Unrestricted licensed physician

Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division
