Overview: Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk for a temp-to-hire opportunity in the Sacramento area. This position offers hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment with potential for long-term growth.
Responsibilities: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Prepare and post journal entries Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts Assist with month-end close and reporting Maintain accurate and organized financial records Provide general accounting support to the finance team Qualifications:
1+ year of accounting or bookkeeping experience Understanding of basic accounting principles Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and communication skills Compensation:
Hourly rate:
$22 - $24/hour , based on experience Temp-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time conversion
