About the Role: Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable Specialist
for a temp-to-hire opportunity in
Sacramento, CA . The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing high-volume invoice processing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently Match purchase orders, invoices, and receipts Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Prepare weekly check runs and electronic payments Maintain vendor files and ensure accurate records Assist with month-end closing activities and accruals Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues Qualifications:
2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience Strong knowledge of general accounting principles Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
