We're partnering with a well-respected organization to find a
Receptionist
who will serve as the first point of contact for a busy legal office. This position is to cover a leave of absence and offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is polished, organized, and adaptable - someone who takes pride in creating a positive experience for every visitor and caller while supporting a team of legal professionals.
Key Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education a plus) • Prior front-desk or administrative experience, preferably in a professional setting • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Main Responsibilities • Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and vendors with professionalism and warmth • Answer and direct calls using a multi-line phone system • Manage scheduling and maintain conference room calendars • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and legal documents • Assist with copying, filing, scanning, and data entry • Coordinate couriers and handle outgoing mail • Provide administrative support to attorneys and staff as needed • Occasionally assist with lunch or meeting food orders
