Job Function Medical Affairs – Medical Science Liaison.

Location Midwest: Colorado (Any City), Denver, Colorado; Kansas (Any City), Kansas City, Kansas; Oklahoma (Any City), Omaha, Nebraska; Rapid City, South Dakota; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Topeka, Kansas; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain a strategic and comprehensive territory plan, building strong relationships with community and academic opinion leaders/KOLs.

Engage in high-level scientific and research discussions with KOLs and other leaders, serving as a resource to understand the current treatment landscape.

Identify provider educational needs and address them with tailored responses.

Deliver relevant scientific data tailored to HCP needs through clear and effective dialogue and presentation.

Consistently execute the current Medical Affairs strategy and MSL priorities.

Respond promptly to unsolicited research/clinical inquiries from external stakeholders.

Collect and submit high-quality actionable insights aligned with current strategic priorities.

Utilize insights and MSL tools to develop a strategic approach for customer engagements within the territory.

Provide research support for company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including MSL field partners, R&D, global Medical Affairs, clinical operations, sales, and marketing teams.

Demonstrate strong scientific acumen through self-reading, journal clubs, educational seminars, and congress participation.

Foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, increasing engagement and innovation within diverse communities.

Develop competence in regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines, corporate policies, and Medical Affairs SOPs.

Develop and implement a performance and development plan, and conduct additional leadership projects with direct manager.

Perform all administrative requirements accurately and compliantly (e.g., expense reports, documentation of activities).

Requirements

A Doctorate-level degree or equivalent experience is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, Advanced Practice Providers).

Postgraduate experience required for Doctoral-level candidates, with preference for clinical experience.

2+ years of MSL experience and/or 2+ years of relevant experience in clinical, research, fellowship, or pharmaceutical work.

In-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge.

Research and/or healthcare system knowledge.

Ability to support a territory with up to 70% travel and hold a valid US Driver’s License.

Preferred

Residency or fellowship preferred.

Board certification for clinical degrees preferred.

Experience in the Oncology therapeutic area highly preferred.

Reside in or near the Denver, CO area.

Compensation Base pay range: $137,000 to $235,750. Eligible for an annual performance bonus per company plan. Company car available through the FLEET program.

Benefits Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Participation in the consolidated retirement plan (401(k)) and pension plan. Vacation: 120 hours per calendar year. Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (56 hours in Washington). Holiday pay: 13 days per calendar year. Personal and family time: up to 40 hours per calendar year. Parental leave: 480 hours within one year. Military spouse time‑off: 80 hours.
