Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for design-build and plan/spec projects Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate takeoffs Solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing for all scopes of work Build comprehensive project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities Evaluate design documents for completeness, constructability, and value engineering Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless project handoff Update and maintain estimating databases, labor rates, and unit cost assemblies Contribute to process improvements and mentor junior estimators (for senior-level roles) What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of experience estimating electrical construction projects Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installation practices Proficiency with estimating tools (Accubid, Trimble, McCormick, or similar) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work under deadlines with strong attention to detail Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Electrical Engineering, or related field (preferred) Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available) Bonus: Experience with data center, renewable energy, or large commercial projects; Design-build estimating experience; Familiarity with BIM or digital takeoff software; Leadership experience or mentoring junior estimators Benefits
