Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. Be a Team Member: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Prepare food according to item specifications; plan for future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and respond to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work; comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; work with an Open Door Policy. What you’ll be responsible for
Ensure high-quality products are available in the prepared foods area. Maintain clean shelves, monitor temperatures, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lesser-quality food products. Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food. Maintain the Sales Floor per company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning, organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area. Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification Preferred: additional qualifications as listed in the original description Benefits and notices
