- Frequent contact with vendors. Job Duties Architect and manage enterprise-wide endpoint management platforms using Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and JAMF Pro. Develop and maintain task sequences in SCCM for OS deployment, application packaging, and patching. Create and deploy remediation scripts and proactive compliance policies in Intune. Lead the migration of Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to Cloud-based CSP policies to support modern management. Design and govern the software distribution platform, ensuring secure and efficient delivery of applications and updates. Keep current on relevant technologies and practices and collaborate with teams to adopt and upgrade services when appropriate. Be a thought leader within IT Infrastructure and Operations and partner closely with IT Infrastructure and Operations teams to ensure security, availability, performance, scalability, etc. Governance & Operational Leadership

Provide technical and operational governance across the desktop engineering environment. Lead incident response for endpoint-related issues, including escalation, communication, and root cause analysis. Assist and maintain desktop engineering roadmaps to ensure availability, resiliency, security, and performance. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and support teams to align endpoint strategy with enterprise goals. Establish and deliver against the Security baselines and KPIs for patching, risk compliance, and endpoint hardening Documentation & Knowledge Management

Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Communicate platform changes and best practices to the Desktop Engineering and Support teams Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

Identify and implement process improvements to reduce complexity, cost, and incident volume. Evaluate and approve hardware standards, ensuring alignment with business needs and modern IT practices. Engage with third-party vendors for support, licensing, and maintenance renewals. Coordinate and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
