Coordinate all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals. Interact directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy and ensure resident retention and client satisfaction. Provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents; generate traffic, qualify prospects, lease apartments, prepare lease documentation, and complete move-in paperwork. Ensure model apartments are in touring condition and orient residents to the property; process renewal paperwork and deliver documentation monthly. Maintain accurate records of traffic activity and follow up with prospects via phone, mail or email. Convert phone traffic into scheduled tours and coordinate move-in/out with maintenance as needed. Create and maintain confidential resident files; review move-in paperwork with new residents. Complete weekly leasing reports and ensure all open/close procedures are performed daily. Assist with resident relations, respond to requests promptly, and shop competitive properties. Inspect buildings and grounds for safety and cleanliness; coordinate with maintenance for repairs. Assist with processing work orders and provide clerical support to management. May assist with planning resident activities to increase retention; comply with company policies, safety rules, and applicable laws. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience
High school diploma is required. Minimum of one year of previous sales experience is preferred. One year of previous residential leasing experience is preferred. Skills and Requirements
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to relate to others. Prior experience in Yardi Voyager or another equivalent system preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication and confidentiality awareness; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Read, write, comprehend, and converse in English; able to use general office equipment. Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to handle difficult situations calmly. Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance. Must comply with safety requirements and complete Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment. Our Core Beliefs
