Sr. Cost Accountant / Senior Financial Analyst / Plant Operations Controller role at Ecolab. The Operations Controller, Senior Financial Analyst II, is a high visibility role that drives the financial performance and strategic business decisions for the Supply Chain network of several manufacturing locations. The Controller is a key member of the Plant leadership team and the NA Supply Chain Finance team within Ecolab. This role reports into the SR. Mng. Supply Chain Finance in Naperville, IL, with dotted line to Plant Manager. The Operations Controller will be responsible for the monthly closing, ad hoc reporting; monthly forecasts; annual budgets including preparation of cost accounting analysis; maintenance of strong internal financial controls, including maintaining compliance with SOX requirements; and driving strong performance management across manufacturing. A strong candidate will be able to support building a TPM Loss reduction culture that drives accountability to the lowest levels of the organization; Capital management identifying savings opportunities and return on investment, improving financial processes through automation and redesign, and be a true partner to the Supply Chain teams at the plants and in Naperville. This person will drive great collaboration across functions, supply chain network and divisions to deliver great results. Location:

Fresno, TX Main Responsibilities

Manages all accounting procedures related to month end close process, such as accruals, journal entry preparation, variance analysis. Provides operational support with capital equipment authorization, asset management and inventory control (cycle count process). Prepares monthly plant forecast. Ensures policies are followed in accordance with SOX, GAAP and Corporate Policy. Recommends improvements and helps guide the plant / supply chain through change while positively influencing others. Prepares and analyzes financial reports including providing financial information for all plant departments. Engages operations team during audit functions to assure policies are followed; recommends improvements and drives changes. Participates in the annual budget process, calculates and updates plant overhead rates and ensures overall integrity of plant budget. Serves as financial representative on TPM projects. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business 4+ years’ experience in Finance and Accounting, 2+ years’ plant controller/cost in manufacturing environment This position is not open to Immigration Sponsorship Preferred Qualifications

MBA, CPA, CMA and Green or Black Belt designation Demonstrated ability to lead/drive financial performance TPM/Lean/Six Sigma knowledge Solid understanding of accounting concepts and practices Demonstrated history of process improvement and critical thinking Strong numerical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines Skilled communicator, both verbally and in writing Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is $83,600.00 - $125,400.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
