Senior Sales Associate
Responsibilities
Client & Service Expert: Achieves individual sales goals; develops strong product knowledge across all categories; ensures exemplary customer service by delivering the Kate Spade experience; develops a personal connection with guests using effective selling skills. Leadership Presence: Achieves personal sales goals; demonstrates extensive product knowledge; partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture; partners to initiate business-driving events in store. Building Brand Equity: Understands and communicates the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, philosophy and lifestyle to the sales team and customers; builds strong client relationships as a brand ambassador; communicates client feedback to store leadership to elevate service and sales; adheres to company policies with honesty and integrity. Operational Excellence: Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures including counting funds, deposits, opening/closing registers, and securing the facility. Additional Qualifications: Strong communication skills; proven ability to contribute to an elevated selling culture; elevated personal style.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Physical requirements: Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends; standing for extended periods; able to lift up to 50 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.
