Job Title: Senior Sales Associate

Primary Purpose: The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold the Kate Spade brand experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieves individual sales goals.
• Develops strong product knowledge across all categories.
• Delivers exemplary customer service by providing the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
• Develops personal connections with guests using effective selling skills.
• Partner with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture and to initiate business-driving events in store.
• Communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
• Build strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador; relay client feedback to store leadership to elevate service and sales.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
• Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, and securing the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Physical requirements: available to work store schedule including evenings and weekends; standing for extended periods; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; comfortable climbing ladders.
