Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, and training on processes and procedures. Provide direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to resolve member complaints according to company guidelines. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits; process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; encourage renewals; participate in sales and marketing events; document marketing activities; strive to meet membership goals. Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchases, locating merchandise, guiding use of self-service technology, and processing transactions at registers or self-checkout; ensure club pick-up orders are fulfilled. Oversee area operations by handling claims/returns, organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages, maintaining equipment and parking lot cleanliness, and assisting with member transports as needed. Complete accounting records and documentation; manage cash operations including deposits, cash fund transfers, and investigations of overages/shortages; maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; analyze information, monitor results, and address improvement opportunities. Promote compliance with ethics and integrity policies; explain and demonstrate policy application; support corrective actions and the Open Door Policy. Lead and participate in teams, coordinate work, provide feedback, and adapt to changes or new challenges to achieve timelines and quality. See One.Walmart for details. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. Actual rate is determined by location and applicable laws. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in specific circumstances based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
