PTS Advance is seeking a skilled Plumbing Estimator to join our client’s growing construction and MEP team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing accurate and competitive cost estimates for plumbing systems across a range of commercial and industrial projects. Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing systems. Quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements using takeoff software and estimation tools. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure complete and accurate bids. Identify value engineering opportunities and evaluate cost-saving alternatives. Maintain current knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, and market pricing. Assist with bid reviews, proposal development, and project budgeting. Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Plumbing Estimator in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction. Strong understanding of plumbing systems, codes, and industry best practices. Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble, or similar). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously. Experience with MEP estimating is a plus. Seniority level
