Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members; and be flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas. Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of floor operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and the operation, maintenance, and sanitization of equipment; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards. Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them. Be an Owner: Ensure operational excellence, maintain the work area according to company policies and procedures; ensure quality and date control standards for meat products; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; eliminate waste; assist members with purchasing decisions; ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored per policy. Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, value the member's experience in the meat area, and exhibit energy and commitment for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; follow the Open Door Policy and apply these in business processes and practices.
