What you’ll do
Be a Team Member: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team; communicate with team members and be flexible to the needs of the business, working in other areas as needed.
Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, back‑room operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and sanitization; prepare meat products according to established standards.
Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality.
Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area per company policies, ensure quality and date control standards for meat products, secure fragile/high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored.
Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience, modeling high‑quality service and products, executing basics at the highest possible level of quality, and exhibiting energy, commitment, and passion.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, using the Open Door Policy and related action plans.
Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identify priorities, deadlines, expectations, communicate progress, recommend improvement opportunities, and adapt to change.
