Provide best-in-class guest service: greet guests, respond to questions/concerns quickly and courteously, assist with video gaming needs, inform guests of promotions, recommend items, and circulate through the store to prioritize guests over tasks. Support the shopping environment, including visual and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and guest relationships that lead to sales and repeat business. Process guest purchases/returns accurately using the POS system; handle transactions, provide receipts, and ensure high-quality guest service. Respond to guest comments/questions in person or on the phone; escalate issues to the Store Manager when appropriate. Promote GameStop guest benefits (e.g., new title reservations, trade-ins, Pro Rewards). Assist the Store Manager with setting guest service expectations and training store associates on company policies and guidelines. Observe associate performance, provide feedback, and address unsatisfactory performance as directed; ensure alignment with guest service expectations. Provide recognition and feedback to associates; document written feedback in the HR system in partnership with the Store Manager. Ensure onboarding, job training, and compliance training are completed prior to shifts; associates should know all job aspects including policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and ethics. Schedule store associates following guidelines; monitor staffing to maintain guest service levels. Approve payroll, enter PTO, and verify pay for time worked. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising per guidelines; ensure fixtures and equipment are in proper working order. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily. Protect company assets through inventory control and loss prevention; inspect packages at closing and communicate concerns to the Store Manager. Support the team in meeting sales, profit, and shrink goals; perform required administrative tasks. Conduct inventory counts, restock merchandise, and organize products for easy access and alphabetization. Balance and reconcile daily POS totals; complete closeout paperwork and bank deposits as required. Verify shipments for discrepancies; conduct counts and communicate issues to management. Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls with proper labeling and packing lists. Maintain associate and guest safety; report injuries per guidelines. Maintain store records/files and ensure manuals are up to date. Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the absence of the Store Manager. Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures; follow opening/closing procedures. Qualifications

Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States; minimum age 18. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred. Retail management experience preferred (6+ months). Retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred (2+ years). Video game knowledge preferred. Key Skills & Abilities

Outgoing, welcoming personality with strong people skills. Genuine, individualized guest assistance; clear verbal and written communication in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and both independently and in a team. Meet performance expectations in attendance, appearance, safety, and respectful workplace standards. Operate POS system; basic math and alphabetizing skills. Complete required paperwork accurately and follow written or verbal instructions. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays; minimum 3 days/week availability. Ability to work alone for extended periods; stand/move for up to 12 hours; lift up to 30 lbs and perform related physical tasks.
