Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics through standardized assessments and careful observation. Design tailored treatment plans that accommodate short-term necessities alongside enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication skills, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing efficacy. Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct unified patient care strategies. Provide education for both patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond clinical encounters. Support occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the healing journey. Maintain precise and punctual documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational protocols. Engage with professional development endeavors and peer collaboration to stay updated with advancements in the sector. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a reputable institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA certified yet. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within the first month of employment. Skills

Expertise in authoritative evidence-based treatment strategies for diverse age groups, along with a deep understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Capacity to modify therapy approaches to cater to a wide range of cultural and linguistic requirements. Robust clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.
