Senior Manager, Advanced Therapies Procurement We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Advanced Therapies Procurement! This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey (USA) with alternate hybrid locations considered in Beerse, Belgium; Zug, Switzerland; or Raritan, New Jersey (USA).

In the Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) team, you will lead global external manufacturers and critical direct materials and service suppliers that bring unique capabilities to the Advanced Therapies platform. This role requires collaboration with business members and a supplier‑development mindset to support our growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support sourcing initiatives to identify the right supplier partners and build adequate material capacities to support business.

Influence business decision‑making to deliver ongoing value improvements and drive competitive advantage.

Lead RFPs, applying e‑sourcing systems effectively to accelerate time‑to‑market.

Develop or support category sourcing strategy for the defined portfolio through business needs assessment, market intelligence, supplier evaluations, and sourcing choices.

Proactively engage business partners and category managers to identify needs and incorporate them into sub‑category strategies.

Develop and lead supplier partnerships and external manufacturing partnerships to drive performance delivery, risk mitigation, and value through supplier‑enabled innovation.

Mitigate business risk by understanding commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements and using efficient contracting channels with standard processes and technology.

Lead, support, or engage as a procurement authority in projects ranging from contracting, supply reliability, innovation, and new product development.

Represent procurement in end‑to‑end supply chain initiatives of manufacturing network, digital tool/technology adoption, and resiliency.

Qualifications Education:

Minimum of a bachelor’s/university or equivalent degree required; advanced (MBA) degree or focused degree preferred in business, life sciences, or a related field. Preferred certifications: CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, or PMP/FPX.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.

Proven experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, category management, and/or supplier management within a supply‑chain environment.

Demonstrated ability to influence and shape projects without direct authority and collaborate with cross‑functional partners and business leaders.

Demonstrated flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment while ensuring efficient transition.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in end‑to‑end supply chain initiatives of manufacturing network, digital tools/technology adoption, and resiliency.

Experience in complex team environments.

Understanding of regulated industry complexities.

Experience with global procurement for external manufacturing, materials, and services.

Strong business and finance competence.

Proficiency in supplier performance, supply market analysis, and/or procurement excellence.

Other Requirements:

Fluency in English (written and verbal).

May require up to 10% domestic and international travel.

Requires ability to work on‑site a minimum of three days per week, with up to two remote workdays.
