Position Requirements
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management in support of the company’s business growth.
The ideal candidate will drive spend analysis, develop deep market intelligence, and build strong supplier and internal partnerships to achieve sustainable business value.
This role plays a key part in optimizing the supply base, mitigating risk, ensuring compliance, and advancing supplier-enabled innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or support sourcing initiatives to identify optimal supplier partners and build material capacity to support business operations and future growth.
Conduct spend analysis and develop in-depth market intelligence to drive alignment with and execution of business objectives.
Influence business decision-making to deliver ongoing value creation and secure competitive advantage.
Develop and manage supplier and external manufacturing partnerships to drive performance, risk mitigation, and value through innovation.
Cultivate and leverage strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, supplier leadership, and category leaders to shape, optimize, and diversify the supply base.
Develop innovative and sustainable procurement solutions to identify and mitigate business risk, create end-to-end value, and address unmet business needs, including building supplier capabilities.
Mitigate business risk through a deep understanding of commercial, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Leverage standard contracting processes and technology to support procurement activities.
Use procurement expertise and a global business perspective to negotiate and execute contracts.
Ensure agreements and their execution meet stakeholder needs and are aligned with organizational procurement and business strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of five years of relevant business experience (legal, contract management, or project management within legal projects).
Experience managing relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 10% (one or two days per month).
