This “On‑Sites” Customer Portfolio Leader position is located at our Customer Site in Smith, Alabama near Columbus, Georgia. Remote from our GEV Head Office, you will support and complement engineering at the power plant.
What you’ll do
Serve as the On‑Site Services Customer Portfolio Leader representing GEV in Smith, Alabama; act as a liaison between internal and external organizations, own the customer relationship and communication, and contribute to overall business strategy, including the P&L and growth opportunities.
Develop and own a site communication plan, coordinate and facilitate regular customer‑facing meetings to review open items, action plans, and new GE Vernova products/services that could provide value.
Oversee Gas Power warranty and applicable commercial considerations, including concessions, balancing benefits for the customer and GE.
Lead outage scope definition and communicate scope to the field services team.
Manage outage/non‑outage parts planning: request quotes, provide quotes to customers, place and manage parts orders, and invoice for parts as applicable.
Provide leadership and drive resolution of all emergent/forced outage matters.
Prepare and facilitate pre‑outage, post‑outage, and milestone meetings, including on‑site repairs and part/component repairs performed in GRS, addressing repair issues in the GE network.
Own contract leadership and fulfillment, including all project deliverables and understanding the terms and conditions and contract requirements such as LD and bonus structure.
What you’ll bring: (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (or an associate’s degree from a college with 7+ years of experience in the power generation industry).
Minimum of 5 years of Technical Field Services with heavy‑duty gas turbine and/or mechanical power outage experience.
Other Eligibility Requirements
Ability to work at the site in Smith, Alabama near Columbus, GA.
Relocation is offered within the US; no immigration sponsorship is provided.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $91,400 – $152,200 USD per year (U.S. based candidates only). Eligible for performance bonus.
