Position Overview: Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Radiology Technologist performs a variety of digital mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic exams, wire localizations, galactography, biopsy procedures, DEXA exams, and quality control. The Technologist ensures high‑quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization, regulatory agencies, physicians, and staff. A working knowledge and experience in Digital Mammography, sterile technique, and documentation and record‑keeping are essential for success in this role. This position requires the ability to work independently, provide excellent patient care and communication, and demonstrate a commitment to our Core Values.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

Current CA Radiology Technologist license.

Current Mammographic Permit.

Current BLS Certification.

Digital Training Documentation.

Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography Tomo training (8 hrs), Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months), and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months).

Able to operate radiologic equipment.

Good communication and patient care skills.

Preferred

ARRT Certificate.

IV Certification.

Associates Degree.

Pay Range $56.20 - $65.16 /hour
