About the Role We're seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Payable Specialist
with strong
job costing experience
to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience managing multiple projects or cost centers.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices and ensure accurate coding to the correct jobs, cost centers, and GL accounts
Match purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices for accuracy
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
Maintain organized records of vendor files, contracts, and W‑9s
Prepare and process weekly check runs and ACH payments
Assist with month‑end close, accruals, and AP reporting
Collaborate with project managers, accounting staff, and vendors to ensure correct job cost allocations
Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Qualifications
3+ years of Accounts Payable experience
Strong
job costing
background – construction, property management, or project‑based industries preferred
Proficiency with
Excel
and accounting software (such as Sage, Viewpoint, Foundation, QuickBooks, or NetSuite)
High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
