Accounts Payable Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) Sacramento, CA

Ledgent Finance & Accounting

Base pay range $23.00/hr - $27.00/hr

Key Responsibilities

Process high-volume invoices

accurately and efficiently

Match purchase orders, receipts, and vendor invoices (3-way match)

Review and code invoices to the appropriate GL accounts

Vendor setup, maintenance, and inquiries

Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments

Reconcile vendor statements

and resolve discrepancies promptly

Assist with

month‑end close

and AP reporting

Support the accounting team with

process improvements and documentation

Qualifications

2+ years

of recent experience in Accounts Payable

Strong knowledge of invoice processing, GL coding, and vendor management

Proficiency in ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle preferred)

Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation)

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a team‑oriented environment
