The Opportunity Mohawk Golf Club is seeking an experienced and motivated
PGA Head Golf Professional
to lead all aspects of the club\'s golf operation. This is a rare opportunity for a self-starter who values autonomy, accountability, and the ability to shape a department\'s structure, staffing, and culture. There is a PGA Director of Instruction and a PGA Pro-Emeritus at the facility that will be part of the Mohawk Golf Club staff.

Experience Required Qualifications
PGA Membership in good standing
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience (Head Professional or strong Assistant ready to advance)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Proficiency with
Golf Genius ,
ForeTees , and
Salesforce
(or equivalent club systems)
Demonstrated ability to manage staff, budgets, and multiple priorities independently
High level of professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm for member service

Essential Responsibilities Key Responsibilities The Head Golf Professional will oversee all day-to-day and seasonal aspects of the golf operation, including but not limited to:
Tournament & Member Programming Plan, coordinate, and execute a full calendar of member tournaments and events using
Golf Genius Ensure a professional, organized, and enjoyable experience for members and guests Oversee leagues, scoring, and results communications
Golf Shop & Merchandising Manage the Club owned Golf Shop\'s merchandising operation, buying plans, and vendor relationships Oversee inventory control and all related

Salesforce
accounting procedures Maintain professional retail standards and member service excellence
Operations & Staff Management Direct the daily operations of the golf department, including
bag room ,
cart services ,
practice facilities , and
tee time management Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate golf staff and assistants Establish operating standards, training systems, and service procedures
Playing, Instruction & Member Engagement Provide lessons, clinics, and member programming for all player levels Promote junior golf and developmental opportunities for all ages Serve as an ambassador of the club and golf community Play with Membership on a regular basis Competent player who has an interest in their own game and competes in PGA Section events.
Benefits Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary:
$65,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience
