Roessel Joy is partnering with a growing company with a brand-new office and great benefits to hire a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payments. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to streamline processes, improve systems, and maintain strong financial controls in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, and payment.
Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving discrepancies promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP records in NetSuite (or a similar ERP system).
Assist with month-end close, accruals, and reporting.
Partner with procurement and operations teams to ensure proper PO and invoice alignment.
Support process improvement initiatives to increase AP efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.
NetSuite experience strongly preferred; other ERP experience considered.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach.
