Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

The Litigation Paralegal

will support attorneys handling complex commercial litigation matters in both State and Federal courts throughout California. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to take ownership of case management from inception through trial.

Litigation Paralegal Responsibilities:

Prepare drafts of pleadings, notices, motions, and other filings for State and Federal courts

Assist with deposition preparation, including notices, exhibits, and coordination with witnesses

Manage and organize case files, discovery materials, and document productions

Oversee and track discovery requests and responses, including e‑discovery processes

Coordinate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progression

Manage case calendars, court deadlines, and ensure timely filing of all court documents (including e‑filing)

Provide trial preparation and courtroom support, utilizing trial software such as Trial Director or similar

Litigation Paralegal Requirements:

Minimum of 8 years of commercial litigation experience, preferably on the defense side

Strong working knowledge of California State and Federal court rules and procedures

Proficiency in trial support software (Trial Director or equivalent) and case management tools

Experience managing cases through all phases of litigation

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with a paralegal certificate preferred (equivalent work experience considered)

Proficiency in Westlaw, iManage, and Nuix (formerly Ringtail) or similar document review platforms

Exceptional organizational and critical‑thinking skills

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

High attention to detail and commitment to meeting deadlines

Proven ability to manage multiple cases and competing priorities efficiently

Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently

Professional integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
