Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to support equipment repair, troubleshooting, installation, and startup. This role involves working closely with management, mechanics, and technical service teams to ensure safe and efficient operations. The anticipated pay for the role is $42.80/hour
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automated material handling and related equipment.
Operate and program Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, and HMIs.
Maintain and troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, control networks, robotics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Follow strict safety standards including Lock-out Tag-out (LOTO), GMPs, and SQF procedures.
Read and interpret work orders, schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
Work independently to resolve complex electro-mechanical issues.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Electrical degree or certifications a plus
Minimum 10 years of electrical experience in industrial settings
At least 3 years of PLC programming experience
Experience with VFDs, HMIs, analog sensors, and controllers
Proficiency with RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, and Factory Talk View Studio
Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including panel assembly and wiring
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, navigate stairs/ladders, and work overtime as needed
Clear oral and written communication skills in English
Forklift and scissor lift certification or willingness to obtain
Familiarity with packaging, palletizing, and fluid process equipment is a plus
