Senior Staff Accountant

Untitled Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to support core accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
This is an in-person position located at our Los Angeles office (Monday‑Thursday), with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities
Prepare and record journal entries for monthly transactions
Reconcile credit cards and balance sheet accounts
Assist with month‑end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed, including processing invoices and expense reports
Maintain fixed asset schedules and prepare depreciation entries
Support internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation
Analyze financial data to identify variances and provide recommendations
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate tracking of costs and other expenses
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of accounting experience preferred
Familiarity with GAAP and month‑end close procedures
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Concur)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively across departments
