About the Role:
We are supporting one of our clients in hiring an experienced Aircraft Cabin Electrical Systems Engineer to join their engineering team based in DFW. This role focuses on supporting cabin electrical systems, including In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), WiFi, and other cabin connectivity components across the fleet.
What You’ll Do:
Provide engineering support for cabin electrical, IFE, and WiFi systems.
Develop and revise engineering documentation such as EOs, EAs, task cards, AMM, IPC, AWDM, and CMMs.
Investigate reliability issues and develop technical solutions to improve system performance.
Collaborate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal engineering teams to design and implement alterations or system replacements.
Support daily aircraft operations by reviewing out-of-service and degraded systems, offering technical troubleshooting and corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with FAA and airline maintenance standards for all cabin electrical systems.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to address system design improvements and ongoing reliability programs.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred; Engineering Technology or Management not accepted).
10+ years of experience in aircraft electrical systems, In-Flight Entertainment (IFE), WiFi, or cabin systems.
Strong understanding of airline processes, maintenance programs, and modification documentation.
Prior experience supporting major airline fleets preferred.
Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority engineering issues and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience working directly with OEMs, suppliers, and MRO teams on electrical system design and reliability initiatives.
