Origin Staffing | Recruiting Manager - Accounting, Finance, Tax, Transformation & Audit Overview This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of Boston’s most prestigious private investment firms in a highly visible FP&A role. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting while partnering with senior leadership across the organization. This position offers a mix of analytical depth, cross‑functional collaboration, and long‑term career growth within a firm known for its strong culture, global presence, and commitment to professional development.
Role Highlights
Location:
Downtown Boston (steps from the Orange & Green Lines)
Hybrid:
3 days in office / 2 days remote
Compensation:
Competitive base salary (DOE) + annual bonus + profit sharing + top‑tier benefits

Support senior executives across multiple business units

Day-to-Day
Lead analysis and reporting for the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly management reporting processes
Partner closely with business unit leaders to develop and refine multi‑year financial plans
Collaborate with the compensation, corporate finance, and accounting teams on daily initiatives
Prepare journal entries and reconcile management vs. tax basis P&Ls
Deliver actionable insights to leadership through financial modeling and variance analysis
Support ongoing ad hoc projects and strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
5‑8 years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or a related finance environment, including at least one year in a managerial capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging across all levels of the organization
Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Anaplan, Power BI, or Tableau a plus
CPA, MBA, or experience within private equity, credit, or financial services environments highly desirable
