Our client is seeking
Software Engineers
to support high-priority national security programs by building, maintaining, and evolving software tools and applications that drive critical mission success. You’ll be at the forefront of solving the most complex challenges in cybersecurity, data processing, and high-performance computing (HPC).
This role places you in one of the most dynamic areas of government technology, where your contributions directly support the intelligence mission.
What You’ll Be Doing As a key member of a high-performing team, you’ll be involved in the development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the
GHOSTGEM
suite of software applications, including
JEDIPOWER , and other emerging tools based on mission demand.
You’ll work on:
Implementing and testing new software functionality
Integrating software with commercial and open-source tools and libraries
Collaborating on complex data processing and analytics workflows
Contributing to containerized, real-time, and large-scale distributed systems
Required Skills
Proficiency in
Linux CLI
Scripting experience with
Bash
and
Python
Development experience using
Java
in a Linux environment
Experience with the
Spring Framework
(Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Integration)
Familiarity with
NoSQL databases
such as MongoDB
Hands-on experience with
Docker
or
containerd
Use of
Git
for source control
Exposure to
Apache NiFi
for data flow orchestration
Familiarity with
RabbitMQ
or
Kafka
for message brokering
Understanding of
CI/CD
pipelines using tools like
GitLab CI
or
Jenkins
Desired Skills
Knowledge of
Kubernetes
for container orchestration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as
Ansible
Use of
Atlassian tools
like Jira and Confluence
Qualifications
Minimum of
7 years
of experience as a Software Engineer
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science or a related field
