Senior Acquisition Specialist Position Overview Euola is seeking Senior Acquisition Specialist to provide expert-level acquisition support for complex, high-value VA procurements at the Regional Procurement Office, working independently and mentoring junior staff on sophisticated procurement actions. Key Responsibilities Lead development of complex acquisition strategies and plans Prepare sophisticated cost/price analyses for procurements exceeding $5M Draft complex sole-source justifications and determinations Develop comprehensive evaluation criteria for major source selections Create detailed market research reports for specialized requirements Prepare contract termination documents and complex modifications Support protests, claims, and dispute resolution Lead compliance reviews on high-dollar/high-risk contracts Mentor entry and mid-level specialists Interface directly with VA COs and senior program officials Handle the most complex and sensitive procurement actions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Business, Public Administration, or at least twenty-four (24) semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management 7+
years of federal acquisition experience Expert knowledge of construction and AE contracting request and develop construction/AE solicitation packages in accordance with FAR, VAAR, and agency policies and procedures Proven experience with complex service contracts and major acquisitions Demonstrated expertise in healthcare or VA procurement preferred Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex matters Preferred Qualifications 10+ years federal contracting experience A Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C Level I, II, or III), FAC-C (Professional), or DAWIA Level III in Contacting certification or courses leading to certification, or demonstration of the completion of commercial courses equivalent to certification. Experience with contracts exceeding $10M VA specific procurement system experience
