About the Role
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced
Accounts Receivable Specialist
to support our local Detroit, MI clients. These opportunities vary from project-based to full-time open positions. This is a general application. Positions can vary in pay, location (Metro Detroit), and schedule depending on client requirements. Please submit your resume for consideration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely collection of payments. Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders. Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies. Process incoming payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts. Generate aging reports and assist with month-end closing activities. Communicate with clients regarding billing issues and payment status. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and maintain accurate records. Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred). 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP experience a plus). Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
