Receptionist – H&R Block
About the Role
Join as a seasonal Client Service Professional/Receptionist and help clients feel confident and informed about their lives, careers, and finances. You will greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments, match clients with the appropriate tax professionals, and maintain a clean, organized office environment. Your focus will be on client experience and service excellence.
What You'll Bring
- Answer phones and greet clients in a personalized, friendly, and inviting manner.
- Match clients with the best‑suited tax professional for their needs.
- Schedule clients how they would like to be scheduled.
- Ensure all client needs are met during service, both in person, over the phone, or virtually.
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources with team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and/or in multiple locations.
- Sales/marketing experience.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous experience in a customer‑service environment.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Pay Range
$11.00 – $27.00 per hour, subject to local minimum wage laws and applicable to seasonal work.
